Notice of 11th Annual General Meeting of Mali Development Group, Charity 1088140.

This is to notify you within the terms of our Constitution, that the Annual General Meeting will be held on Sunday 18th September 2011. The event will begin with  a light, buffet lunch at 1pm at a cost of £5 and the meeting itself will start at 2.30pm

 This year the meeting is at the home of David and Janice Hedge, 26 Emanuel Avenue, London W3 6JJ. 

 Please confirm your attendance in advance if possible by phoning 0208 992 2531, or by e-mailing to Janice via janicehedge@btinternet.com. 

 This year John Hedge will be the speaker, and his topic will be how the work we have done over the years since 2000 has linked to the Millennium Goals, introduced in the same year that we began to plan Mali Development Group. This subject will also be the theme of our annual report.

 The agenda for the business meeting is as follows:

  1. Apologies.
  2. Chair’s Introduction.
  3. Presentation of the Annual Report.
  4. Treasurer’s Report and presentation of accounts.
  5. Election of Chair.
  6. Election of Secretary.
  7. Election of Treasurer.
  8. Election of Executive Committee members (6).
  9. Any other business.

Copies of the Annual Report and the accounts will be available at the meeting.

 If you would like a nomination form for membership of the Executive Committee and its Officers contact Janice. If you would like to make a nomination please return the form to her so that she has it at least 14 days before the A.G.M - that is by 4th September.
